ZERMA ZWS
The AMIS single-shaft shredders from the ZWS series are used in the plastics and wood processing industries to ensure economical processing of a wide variety of materials. The machines have been designed for heavy-duty use and reliability in continuous operation.
General description
The ZWS series has a load-dependent hydraulic pusher that feeds the material to the rotor, in a horizontal movement, in a slightly inclined, position.
The material is shredded between the rotor and stator knives until it falls through the screen installed and bolted under the rotor. The replaceable screen defines the final grain size. The shredded material can be discharged via a conveyor belt, a discharge screw or pneumatically by means of an suction system.

- Optionally with segmented base for particularly thin materials
- Aggressiveness of the rotor can be reduced or increased by filling pieces
- Can be combined in a 2-stage system with a granulator
