Slow speed granulator ZERMA GSL 180
The low-speed granulators in the GSL series have been specially developed for
injection molding applications. In most cases, the regrind obtained is fed directly
back into the production process. With their numerous hopper and base frame
variants, the GSL granulators can be integrated into almost all injection molding
machines and handling systems.
General description
The low-speed granulators in the GSL 180 series have a rotor diameter of 180 mm and working widths from 120 to 430 mm. The rotor is driven directly by a geared motor. The low rotor speed ensures a pleasant noise level and low-dust grinding. The special rotor knives can be re-sharpened several times. There is no need for time-consuming adjustment work, as even after regrinding, the rotor flight circle remains unchanged. The grinders are fed via a noise-reducing hopper in.
Depending on the task, the machines can be equipped with different hopper variants. Low and high base frames are optionally available, which can be completed with a corresponding suction/discharge tray. The ground material is thus extracted or filled into sacks and/or plastic container. Good accessibility for quick and easy maintenance work is ensured by the Quick Snap closure system.
Options

GSL 300/800 with roller feed
for the shredding of, for example Punching grids in inline recycling.

Good accessibility
All components (hopper, suction tray,
front panel) can be removed without
tools, ensuring optimum access for
maintenance and cleaning work.

High chassis
with adapter for filling the ground material into a mobile, 60 l roll container.

Special knives make adjustment work unnecessary
This shape of the rotor knives ensures a constant cutting circle even after regrinding, so that the required cutting gap between the rotor and stator knives is maintained. The stator knives can be reversed 4 times and can also be reground.

The rotor
The staggered rotor stars mean that only individual blades are used, which increases the cutting force. The rotor shaft is mounted on bearings on both sides. The low rotor speed of 150 rpm ensures a low noise level and low-dust ground material.

Drive via a powerful gear motor
The directly flange-mounted geared
motor ensures a high torque.

Inclined hopper
Inclined hopper in sandwich design without integrated baffle plates for feeding long or bulky parts.
