Granulator ZERMA GSP for tubes/pipes
Conventional granulators face considerable problems when shredding
long pipes and profiles. Pits or platforms are therefore often required
to enable the long parts to be fed. Our solution for this Problem is the
GSP series.
General description
Different rotor variants are available depending on the task and pipe cross-section or diameter.
The machines in the GSP series have rotor diameters of 560, 600 and 700 mm and working widths of 500 to 1400 mm.
Through the inclined machine housing in heavy-duty welded steel construction, pipes and profiles up to 6 m length, can be shredded without having to pre-saw them. The long parts are conveniently fed via the the inclined feed hopper. The rotor, with V-cut technology, automatically pulls the parts without the risk of blockages. If the grinding chamber is overfilled no further material is accepted by the rotor.

Replaceable wear plates in the upper and lower housing section
Time-consuming overhaul work on the grinding chamber is eliminated thanks to replaceable wear plates in the grinding chamber.

The grinding chamber
The grinding chamber can be opened by means of a motorized hydraulics. The open upper part of the machine, including hopper, guarantees optimum accessibility for maintenance and cleaning work.

Massive coverblades
The threads of the blade mounting screws are located exclusively in the cover blades and not in the rotor itself.

Rotor with V-cut technology
Each rotor blade row consists of 2 or 4 blades arranged in a V-shape. This arrangement conveys the material to the center of the rotor, preventing wear and material sticking to the side walls.

Rotor lock
The rotor locking ensures safe working on the machine, especially when changing blades. A safety limit switch prevents the machine from starting accidentally.

Robust, external bearing
The GSP series has a rotor bearing separate from the grinding chamber. This prevents regrind or fines from entering the bearing.

Blade setting jig for rotor and stator blades
Adjustment of both the rotor and stator blades is carried out outside the machine in a blade setting jig included in the scope of delivery.

The stator knives can be rotated thanks to 2 cutting edges
The two stator knives have 2 cutting edges, which doubles their service life before regrinding.
