Heavy duty granulator ZERMA GSH
The machines in the GSH series are designed to handle the toughest demands and diverse requirements of modern recycling operations. They can be used both as stand-alone central granulators and as downstream granulators in larger recycling plants.
General description
The machines can be expanded or modified with numerous options:
as a wet mill in a washing system, with a Hardox wear protection package for particularly abrasive materials, with metering screws for forced feeding of loose PET bottles, with a noise protection housing, with a feed device for shredding films (and rolls), etc.
Working widths from 500 to 2400 mm are possible.
The rotor diameters range from 350 to 1100 mm.
To meet the highly diverse challenges of a recycling operation, efforts have always been made to design the machine as universally as possible. Various rotor types are available for this purpose. Their intake behavior is additionally influenced significantly by the installation or removal of the deflection wedge with 3rd stator blade. This makes it possible to shred both large-volume (e.g. drums) and thick-walled,
compact parts.
Options

Hardox wear-protection package
Wear-sensitive areas of the cutting chamber
and rotor can optionally be replaced with
wear-resistant components made of Hardox.

Roller infeed
Two feed rollers driven by a gear motor feed films, punching grids, edge strips, etc.,
either inline or
offline, directly
into the first cut
of the rotor.

Wet grinder with elevated platform
for integration into a washing system
Every machine from the GSH series can
be converted into a wet grinder.
GSH-Details (Preview)

Diagonally divided cutting chamber
The diagonally divided cutting chamber can be opened by means of a motorized hydraulic system (except GSH 350/500) and guarantees optimum accessibility for maintenance and cleaning work.

Rotor with V-cut technology
Each rotor blade row consists of 2 or 4 blades arranged in a V-shape. This arrangement conveys the material to the center of the rotor, preventing wear and material sticking to the side walls.

Massive coverblades
The threads of the blade mounting screws are located exclusively in the cover blades and not in the rotor itself.

Rotor lock
The rotor locking ensures safe working on the machine, especially when changing
blades. A safety limit switch prevents the machine from starting accidentally.
