The AMIS magnetic drum is used to remove iron contamination from the conveyed material. It is installed as a final roller in a conveyor belt and is therefore a very cost-effective metal separator.
The magnet drum protects downstream machines such as granulators or shredders. For higher material layers, a magnet roller can be combined with a self-cleaning overhead magnet.
The magnet drum works very effective and is almost maintenance free.
