Pulverizers
Whether it comes to the shredding of virgin materials, regrind from profile, pipe and sheet extrusion operations, or applications in the rotational moulding sector: AMIS fine grinding mills – both our new and our professionally overhauled machines – are perfect for these applications.
Within the framework of our supply range, we are able to offer both new ZERMA disc pulverisers and professionally overhauled used machines (e.g. Alpine, Pallmann, Herbold or Condux).
Our specialist workshop can professionally refit any used machine so that it will be delivered with our tried and tested warranty for second-hand equipment.
Areas of use:
Our fine grinding mills are suitable for shredding and/or pulverising virgin materials or regrind (mostly made of H-PVC and PE) from profile, pipe and sheet extrusion operations as well as for applications in the rotational moulding sector.
Technical Data / Design
- Thanks to 4 openings in the grinding chamber, the grinding disc gap can be easily controlled from the outside when the machine is closed.
- Depending on the application, we will equip the machines with one-piece grinding discs or, alternatively, with grinding segments for which several serrations and anti-wear coatings are available.
- The digital control of the regrind’s temperature by means of water injection is highly user-friendly.
- By default, the stationary grinding disc in the housing front is equipped with once-through cooling.
- Thanks to the flat arrangement of the grinding discs, the product’s dwell time in the grinding chamber is rather short, which keeps it from being subjected to unnecessary temperature fluctuations which could adversely affect its quality.
- In order to ensure a long service life, the bearing of the high-speed precision grinders is equipped with battery-powered permanent lubrication.
- Our PM series includes 3 different models/types with disc diameters of 300, 500 and 800 mm and drive powers of 22, 55 and 90 kW respectively.
Mode of operation
Precision grinders are high-speed centrifugal mills which are operated without a screen.
Using a pneumatically driven dosing chute, the material is fed into the grinding chamber, where it is pulverised between the stationary and the rotating grinding disc.
Almost 100% of the regrind is pulverised into a particle size of less than 1 mm. Supported by a pneumatic extraction system, the centrifugal force removes the material from the grinding chamber.
Depending on the application (e.g. rotational moulding operations), it is possible to add a downstream screening machine with corresponding mesh apertures.
Coarse material/oversized grain is automatically returned to the disc pulveriser for further pulverisation.
Our fine grinding mills are available with a wide range of options, e.g. extraction systems, metal separators, screening machines, automatic exhaust air filters, or feed and discharge screw conveyors.
