Single shaft shredder ZERMA ZIS
The ZIS series shredders are single shaft shredders with a large internal volume due to the spaecial ram design. They have been designed to handle voluminious parts.
General description
The machines are equipped with a 457 mm diameter rotor with widths ranging from 1200 mm to 2000 mm.
The material is transported via the
load-dependent controlled hydraulic pusher to the rotor. The slowly rotating rotor is equipped with cutting crowns which, together with the stator knives in the housing, shred the material. The
final fineness is determined by the
screen located under the rotor.
It is driven by a drive motor, V-belts and a generously dimensioned gearbox.
The ZIS shredders have been designed to handle voluminous parts such as IBCs, wheelie bins, pallets, large drums etc but also retain the versatility and flexibility to be used for general recycling in the plastic industry.

Internal hydraulic pusher
The redesigned hydraulic pusher system creates 35% more space in the cutting chamber.
Typically used for voluminous parts.
Rotatable cutting crowns
The rotors are equipped with concave shaped, rotatable cutting crowns.
Sieve
The sieve basket with sieve
is operated via a separate hydraulic 2-hand operation. Maintenance work on the rotor, changing the sieve, the rotor knives blades and the rotor blade holders can be done easily and quickly.
Hydraulic
Load-dependent control and has a 2-stage hydraulic system, i.e. the reverse movement takes place at increased speed.
